How much is shipping?

  • We offer FREE UK Standard delivery on all orders
  • International Tracked is £9.95

We use Royal Mail 1st Class delivery which usually takes 2-3 working days UK and 1-2 weeks worldwide.

When will my order arrive?

Please keep in mind that we are a small business and all items are made especially for you. We will endeavour to get orders out as quickly as possible, but please allow 1 week for your order to ship. If you have not had a shipping notification after 1 week, please contact us on info@themagpieology.co.uk with your order number and we will get back to you. 

Can I add to/amend my order?

If you need to make any amendments to your order please contact us via email and include in the subject line 'Order Amendment' along with your order number if possible.

Please include in your message as much detail as possible regarding what you would like to amend or add and we will try our best to make these changes before your order is made and shipped. However, during our busy periods it may not be possible to make any changes to an order.

What is The Magpieology's return policy?

We are happy to accept back any unworn item within 14 days of receiving your order to our return address. This excludes any items purchased in a sale. 

Please contact info@themagpieology.co.uk with your order number for instructions on how to return.

We can only accept items back which are unaltered, unworn, and in a resaleable condition.

We ask that all returns are returned in their original packaging and to include your name and order number within the packaging.

Once your return is received and inspected, a refund will be processed, you will be notified and your original payment method credited. This can take up to 10 days.

Who pays for the return postage?

Unfortunately, we do not cover the return postage of items returned for an exchange or refund. We recommend returning the items by First Class signed for delivery, to ensure your order is safely returned to us.

If returning from outside the UK, please send via normal post and not a courier service. If you choose to send back via courier, unfortunately we cannot be liable for any custom or import charges. We recommend using a recorded standard service and please mark the shipment as a "return" so that we are not charged custom or import tax. If these fees occur, the item will be returned to you. Please note we cannot be held liable for any missing returns and it is the responsibility of the customer to safely return their item to us.

My order is faulty, how will this be resolved?

It is very rare that we have any faulty issues with our items but we appreciate that our products are very delicate, therefore occasionally faults can occur. If this happens to you, please do get in touch with your order number, description and images of the faulty product to info@themagpieology.co.uk and we will resolve this for you.

Can I return earrings?

Yes as long as the earrings are unworn and returned to us in perfect condition.

How can I care for my The Magpieology jewellery?

There are many factors that can influence the wear and tear of your jewellery but above all it is important to remember that jewellery is delicate and needs to be looked after carefully so you can enjoy wearing it for many years to come.

Your jewellery can be worn in the shower as we use 14k filled gold or sterling silver, however we suggest you remove jewellery when swimming because the chemicals (especially chlorine) can affect the longevity of your jewellery. This is especially important for rings, as they suffer wear and tear much more than other jewellery types since we use our hands for everything we do.

Put your jewellery on last when getting ready as makeup, perfume, hairspray, and lotions can affect the beauty and shine of your jewellery. To clean your jewellery and restore its shine we recommend that you use a jewellery polishing cloth to gently rub the surface. Do not use a polishing agent or abrasive liquids as these will wear away the layers of gold.

Is The Magpieology jewellery covered by a warranty?

Our items come with a 6-month warranty as standard. This covers manufacturing faults – loose posts on earrings and clasps on chains. In these instances, we can repair or replace.

The 6-month warranty is void if damage is caused by customer mis-use. This includes damage caused by perfumes, chemicals, bleaching, heat exposure and general wear and tear.

Tarnishing or discolouration due to chemical contact is not a fault.

Any damage to any items that exceed 6-months cannot be repaired.
